Gambit won in the opening match of the tenth anniversary Major! In the first round of ELEAGUE Major our guys were to face the Danish five North. After both teams’ bans Cobblestone was chosen, which was taken by Gambit eight times in a row.

The fighting against Danish roster started quite confidently: we lost just a couple of rounds and then the team took over six rounds. During the first half of the match our guys managed to please the fans: in the tenth round Gambit outwitted the opponents and took the two-minutes match with one frag and no loses! North couldn’t break the successful guys’ game, however, they could take the advantage for some time. The second half allowed the in-game leader to show up (in the eighteenth round Zeus met the opponents with three frags) and team’s Kazakhstani trio (mou killed thrice from AWP, and AdreN made a double kill with Mag-7). The guys left no chances for the opponent to change the course of the meeting and as the result this confrontation ended up with the score of 16:8 in our favor.

The name of our next opponent to fight for $1,000,000 and the championship title will be known later. The only obvious thing is that the next opponent as well has started his way at the tournament with the victory. Expect new information and make sure to follow Gambit’s success at ELEAGUE Major!
