Gambit has moved on to the ELEAGUE Major quarterfinals and now will fight for the main trophy, the championship title. To get closer to the desirable aim they need to put their best foot forward at the nearest opposition. And this is the first playoff match against fnatic team. According to the results of the ELEAGUE Major draw, everyone, following CS events, was to feel kind a deja vu. And that’s not by chance as at the quarterfinals of the last Major, ESL One Cologne 2016, that was the very team our guys competed against.

Before the great Swedish reshuffle this team felt much better. Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer was the highest ranked player of 2015, and these five players showed great achievements: they were first at IEM Katowice 2016, took the second place at debut ELEAGUE season, took the third place at ESL One Cologne 2016 and ECS Season 1. Now fnatic tries hard not to give up their leading position, from their recent results they secured top 6 placement at EPICENTER: Moscow and ESL One New York 2016. Coming back to the opposition our squads had half a year earlier at ESL One Cologne 2016, it must be noticed, that the teams competed with their previous line-ups. Back then the fighting ended up with a frustrating defeat for us: 2:0 was the final score. Our guys weren’t ready for such an unpredictable Swedish game style together with perfect aim.

Today we have a chance to get even with fnatic and advance to ELEAGUE Major semifinals. Watch, what this spectacular bo3 opposition will end up with at 18:30 CET and, of course, cheer for Gambit!
