The first round of Acer Predator Masters, one of the coziest tournaments in the CS:GO world, will start on Thursday, November 3. Warm atmosphere, slippers, smiling casters, and, of course, some competitive CS!
Gambit will open the first day of competition with a match against Fnatic's junior team, who received a last minute invitation as the organizers had to find replacements for the teams who went to participate at PGL Minor. The game is scheduled to start at 12:00 CET.
Our opponent isn't an easy one: last weekends a young and hungry for victories Swedish team became one of the sensations of ESWC 2016. During the group stage they confidently took down Rogue, a Danish-Bulgarian squad. In their match for a spot in playoffs, young Fnatic stomped Finns from ENCE, who were considered a contender for ESWC title, with a 2:0 score. But the greatest achievement of Fnatic Academy was their victory against Heroic in Round of 16.
Team's signature picks are Cobblestone and Mirage. It's on these two maps where Scandinavians, led by PlesseN, who used to be a stand-in for Fnatic, took down the Danes at ESWC. Nevertheless, in the upcoming match Gambit are considred to be favourites. Let's hope that our guys used this break between the tournaments to draw some conclusions and work on their mistakes.
The winners of the Gambit - Fnatic Academy match-up will advance to the second round, where they will face the victor of Rogue - DIVIZON match. The second round of the Upper Bracket will start today at ~ 21:00 CET. Follow our matches and support Gambit CS:GO!
