Gambit CS:GO coach Alexandr "beast" Yakovlev told us about their super long road home from Columbus, where Major Championship has just ended.

"We started our journey home at 13.00. We arrived at the airport in time, and we had to go the Columbus – Chicago – London – Saint Petersburg route. In Chicago we had to wait for hour and a half for our flight, and in London we had to wait for 3 hours.

We left Columbus in time, reached Chicago quite quickly, changed the plane and it was at that time when the generator of the plane refused to work.

After long 3 hours of waiting we left Chicago and realized that we had already missed our flight from London to Saint Petersburg. Our travel company, American Airlines, promised to change tickets for those who missed their next plane due to the accident.

But the plane landed in London only on 3^rd attempt, making circles in the air above the airport. We were met by American Airlines representatives who gave us tickets to Saint Petersburg with transfer in Moscow and food vouchers. The tickets required us to check-in, but we were in transit zone, so we didn't find the check-in counters.

As soon as we learned the number of our boarding gate, me and wayLander went there and received boarding passes. We were "happy" to find out that our luggage probably wouldn't be send since there was no time for it. Hooch, Dosia and AdreN came later, when there was already a queue for boarding. When it was finally their turn, Aeroflot employees, who should have helped us to get to Saint Petersburg, said that they couldn't board our guys. After 15 minutes of trying to find out what to do, me and wayLander boarded the plane and went to Moscow, and later to Saint Petersburg.

The rest of the team had to stay in London, and it took them a long time to get tickets from American Airlines. Finally they managed to do it, but they had to wait for 4 hours more, go to Barcelona and only after that they reached Saint Petersburg. They had to fly without their luggage as well.

To sum up, it took me and wayLander 26-28 hours to get home. AdreN, mou, hooch and Dosia's journey took them more than 35 hours."
