HLTV Monthly Ranking: April

Well-known esports site has just updated their monthly CS:GO team ranking based on the results of official games played in April 2016. DreamHack Masters Malmö and CEVO Gfinity Professional Season 9 were the two largest tournaments that had the highest weight when forming the ranking. April's team ranking was also influenced by the results of Columbus Major.


Gambit CIS Jungler Tryouts

Gambit CIS LoL is looking for a new jungler to replace Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov. The team has qualified for Continental League, the main League of Legends championship in CIS that is set to begin at the end of May. The league is played online and LAN finals will presumably take place in Moscow.


Operation: Kinguin #3

Operation: Kinguin #3 is an open tournament organized by Kinguin. 32 teams are competing online for a $20,000 prize pool. The tournament is divided into group stage and playoffs.


Fomko: CIS has improved as a region

Gambit CIS Mid Laner Anton "Fomko" Fomkin told us about being an analyst during the Russian IWCI broadcast, his impressions of the tournament and working at the studio.


StarLadder i-League CS:GO Invitational: Closed Qualifier

Gambit CS:GO was invited to the Closed Qualifier for StarLadder i-League Invitational. The Closed Qualifier features 4 invited teams and 4 winners of the first-stage qualifiers.


Diamondprox leaves Gambit

Going into LCL Summer split Gambit CIS will undergo a single roster change. Sadly, Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov has decided to leave our organization. Despite a good chance of qualifying for Worlds through IWC Tournament with our team, he accepted an offer from a foreign organization and will start training with his new team in the beginning of May.


Zak: Gambit and HR are the strongest teams in CIS

Gambit CIS team's new analyst, Aleksandr "Zak" Shcherbakov, told us his story about how a scientist from Irkutsk became a LoL player and a popular YouTuber, about his works in the astrophysics field, how a joke turned into a real job for Gambit, what achievements as an analyst can he boast about and his impressions of the players and the team itself.


saetia joins Gambit CIS as a Head Coach

Gambit CIS will enter LCL Summer split with a new Head Coach - Nikita "saetia" Burlakov. saetia will assume his new responsibilities in the beginning of May, once our team begins preparing for an upcoming competition. Nikita's debut as a Head Coach was a success: in the Spring split Team Empire for the first time in its history has reached the final of the main CIS league.


What League of Legends content do you enjoy the most?

Diamondprox: Most of all I enjoy quality highlights. In these highlights you can often see how players quickly find an extraordinary way out of the complicated in-game situations, which is the most entertaining thing about League of Legends. Highlight reels have higher concentration of these moments compared to ordinary matches. It's a shame though that the top-quality videos are still worse than the ones WoW had 5+ years ago.


ELEAGUE: Season 1

Gambit CS:GO is going to take part in ELEAGUE - the first Western eSports league that is going to be broadcasted on an American TV Channel TBS. Twenty-four best teams from all over the world will meet in Atlanta, USA.


spaze joins Gambit CS:GO

Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan fills in the vacant spot in Gambit CS:GO team. We hope that working together with veterans of CS:GO scene will help him to acquire the necessary experience and to find a common language with his teammates not only in-game, but outside of it as well.


Zak joins Gambit CIS LoL as an analyst

A famous in CIS streamer and author of numerous guides Aleksandr "Zak" Shcherbakov joins Gambit CIS League of Legends squad as an analyst. Aleksandr started working with the team at the end of March and played an invaluable role during the preparation for LCL Challenger Series playoffs as well as LCL Promotion Tournament.
