Today Gambit CS:GO begins competing for a spot at WESG Grand Final. In order to participate at this competition the team has to be comprised of five players of the same nationality, therefore Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov will be replaced by Sanzhar "Nealan" Ishkakov.

The qualification process consists of two parts. On December 4 - 5 we’ll be playing at Central Asia qualifier, where 17 teams will compete for a single spot at Asia-Pacific qualifier. Our first game will take place today at 15:00 CET - Gambit will go up against Team Nomands from Kyrgyzstan in the round of 16.

You can get acquainted with the tournament bracket by following this link. Round of 16 and quarterfinals are held in BO1 format, semifinals and final - BO3.

Asia-Pacific qualifier will be held in Kitai Yinchuan on January 11 - 14. 16 strongest teams in Asia will face each other to determine which six rosters will advance to WESG Grand Final.

We’d like to remind that last year mou, HObbit and AdreN won Asia-Pacific qualifier with k23, but withdrew from WESG Grand Final in order to focus on practicing for ELEAGUE Major.

Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov has already qualified for WESG Grand Final with Team Russia (seized, flamie, electronic, WorldEdit, Dosia) by making it to the playoffs of European qualifier.
