Gambit CS:GO players Abay "HObbit" Khassenov, Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev and Rustem "mou" Telepov guaranteed themselves an early crossover from the group stage of Asian WESG qualifier.

Already after two matches k23 managed to guarantee themselves a spot in the quarterfinals. The first game against Expendables was nothing but brilliant for Kazakhs, thus at two maps the rival could not resist, having hardly taken 4 rounds on its favor.

Nevertheless a match with m0nster from time to time seemed quite nervous. Despite a seemingly easy victory on Overpass, Cobblestone troubled k23 a lot. Even more, Koreans could win the map, but having shown their real Gambit character and spirit they did snatch their victory.

Thanks to two starting victories, the team booked their place in quarterfinals beforehand. The only left thing to find was whether they would secure the first place in the group. So the guys from k23 have decided not to let down their fans and with their next overconfident performance they become the only team to win all the group stage matches.
