Daniil "Zeus" Teslenko leaves Gambit CS:GO. Daniil's decision is based on his unwillingness to work with a new head coach.
An issue of our coach's inability to fulfill his requirements was raised multiple times. The final decision to terminate his employment was made before PGL Major Krakow. Management and players were unsatisfied with the professional qualities of Mikhail "kane" Blagin. Over the course of ten months kane was unable to find an approach towards the team, therefore a set of his responsibilities had to be delegated to players, which is deemed inappropriate for a professional team.
We would like to stress that a successful performance at PGL Major Krakow had no influence on our decision. When an issue of Mikhail Blagin's departure was raised, Daniil Teslenko emphasised that it will result with him leaving the team as well. Gambit Esports management respects Daniil's decision, therefore agreed to sign a buyout agreement, so that he can return to Natus Vincere.
On behalf of Gambit Esports we would like to thank Daniil and Mikhail for the contribution to the development of our CS:GO division and wish them luck and new victories in the future. The past ten months turned out to be the most fruitful for Gambit CS:GO - we won two DreamHack tournaments and became the champions of PGL Major Krakow.
Gambit CS:GO will stick to the plan and will resume practicing on August 12. We would like to remind that our team will participate in the following tournaments in the nearest future:
August 19 - 20 - IEM New York Closed Qualifier (Online),
August 26 - 27 - ELEAGUE Premier Qualifier (Online),
August 30 - September 3 - DreamHack Masters Malmö,
September 7 - 10 - ESG Tour Mykonos.
The fifth member of Gambit CS:GO will be revealed shortly.
