Andrey "Andi" Prokhorov resigns from Gambit CS:GO head coach position. Gambit Esports CGO Konstantin "groove" Pikiner will temporarily assume this position over the course of two upcoming tournaments.

At the moment Gambit CS:GO is boot camping in Moscow. The team is set to attend two LAN tournaments until the end of this month: DreamHack Summer (June 16 - 18, Shvecia Jönköping) and ZOTAC Cup Masters Europe (June 22 - 24, Italia Milan).

Andrey "Andi" Prokhorov spearheaded Gambit CS:GO in October of 2017. Over the course of this period the team’s highest achievements are the first place at ROG Masters Grand Final and the semifinal finish at DreamHack Masters Marseille.

Andrey "Andi" Prokhorov:
"I made a decision to leave the team and am no longer head coach of Gambit. Some might find it strange, but it was necessary for the sake of the team. In order to win the team needs a fresh point of view and a new approach. It pains me to leave knowing that we didn't achieve the results that were expected of us by our fans. I am grateful to management, players and fans for their support."
