After the last match of the Challenger Series that was held last weekends, we finally learned names of the teams that would take part in Challenger Series play-offs. Our Academy advanced to the final stage of the Challenger Series and will fight for a chance to participate in the Promotion Tournament and try to get to the LCL Spring Split 2017.

Format of play-offs: 4 participants, 2 series of matches in BO5 format. The winner of the regular split has a right to choose its opponent in the first round of play-offs. The losers are eliminated, while winners of play-offs will take part in the Promotion Tournament.

What is Promotion Tournament?
It’s an event for 4 teams: finalists of Challenger Series and teams that got 7th and 8th in the LCL Summer Split. Just.MSI, who got 7th, received an opportunity to choose themselves an opponent from the CS teams, with whom they will compete for the right to take part in the LCL Spring Split. According to their choice, Team Empire will meet the other team.
