HLTV.org have updated their global team rankings for January 2016 taking into account major LAN tournaments that took place during this time period. Gambit CS:GO participated only at one LAN tournament: CIS Minor Championship, but a victory there allowed us to secure 23rd place in the rankings.
On an individual level, HLTV highlighted Rustem "mou" Telepov for his MVP worthy performance in Minsk. While all of our players had their moments of brilliance, mou was consistently solid all tournament long and was the primary reason behind the success of our team.
Apart from various online tournaments, on February 26 – 28 we are going to participate at MLG Columbus LAN Qualifier for a chance to compete at the first major of 2016. This is going to be the first large scale event, where our team is going to face some of the best teams in the World.
