Turner and WME | IMG announced the second season of ELEAGUE CS:GO.  This time the tournament will be divided into three parts - preliminary rounds, group stage and playoffs.

The second season of ELEAGUE features an updated format. The organizers reduced the number of the group stage participants from 24 teams to 16. The teams will be divided into 4 groups, with matches being played in a Double Elimination system. Eight teams that took part in the first season playoffs have already received direct invitations to the group stage. European and American preliminary rounds will determine 8 more teams that will join them.

Gambit CS:GO, as a participant of the first season of ELEAGUE, received an invitation to play in the preliminary rounds. 16 teams in each region will clash in a Single Elimination bracket with the top 4 teams advancing to the main event.

About the tournament:
The second edition of ELEAGUE's CS:GO tournament features $1.4 million prize pool. Games between the best teams from all over the world will be broadcasted on American TV. The first season ended up with Polish quintet from Virtus.Pro taking the first place. The group stage of the second season of ELEAGUE will start on October 21st, with the grand finals being held on December 3rd.
