Riot has announced LCL Open Cup, a tournament for both professionals and amateurs with a prize pool of nearly $24,000. Teams will be divided into two groups, with 1 amateur team that won the open qualifiers, and 3 professional LCL teams. The best team from each group advances to playoffs, where they will face either Vega Squadron or Albus NoX Luna.

The first group will play its matches in Moscow on November 20, while the second group stage and playoffs will take place in Saint Petersburg on November 25-27. More detailed information about the participants and schedule of the matches will be revealed later.
