At the beginning of each month HLTV.org traditionally publishes the best squads rankings. Four tournaments have affected this year's first results: WESG World Finals, DreamHack Leipzig, ESEA Season 23, and, for those, competing for the first positions, ELEAGUE Major 2017 of course.
A victory at DreamHack Winter closed qualifier and top 8 finish at eSports World Convention did not have a positive impact on Gambit CS:GO ranking. In November our team has a chance to turn this situation around

This month was filled with different tournaments: DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer, ESL One Cologne Qualifiers 2016, group stage of ELEAGUE and LAN-finals of ECS.

DreamHack Masters Malmö and CEVO Gfinity Professional Season 9 were the two largest tournaments that had the highest weight when forming the ranking. April's team ranking was also influenced by the results of Columbus Major.
Well-known esports site HLTV.org has just updated their montly CS:GO team ranking based on the results of the Columbus Major. When assessing, they also considered the results of IEM Katowice, Counter Pit League and Copenhagen Games.
HLTV.org have updated global team rankings for February 2016. Gambit CS:GO team made the highest leap out of any team that was not new and ascended from rank 23 to rank 16. This leap is justified by our performance at Columbus Major Qualifier. Our team came out on top in Group D despite being an underdog: 16:9 vs Cloud9 @ Cache and 16:10 vs Renegades @ Train. There is a potential to get an even higher ranking, but in order to achieve it we have to attend more LAN tournaments.
HLTV.org have updated their global team rankings for January 2016 taking into account major LAN tournaments that took place during this time period. Gambit CS:GO participated only at one LAN tournament: CIS Minor Championship, but a victory there allowed us to secure 23rd place in the rankings.
